Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PairQueue websites, mobile applications, beta programs, matching tools, planning tools, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PairQueue.

2. What PairQueue Does

PairQueue is a ride-matching and park-planning utility for solo riders and small groups. The Services may help users express ride intent, filter by pass type, plan ride windows, request compatible ride partners, open temporary ride-session communications, and view reliability or status signals.

PairQueue does not operate amusement parks, rides, queues, ride entrances, ticketing, pass systems, transportation, emergency services, or park security. PairQueue does not create or authorize single-rider lines, priority access, line cutting, place holding, or any bypass of park rules.

3. No Park Affiliation

PairQueue is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Cedar Point, Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Universal, Disney, or any other park, ride operator, pass issuer, or venue unless we state otherwise in a written agreement. Park names may be used only to identify locations where users may want to coordinate.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms to use PairQueue. You may not use the Services if you are barred from using them under applicable law or if we previously suspended or terminated your account.

5. Account Security and Accuracy

You are responsible for your account, credentials, profile information, pass-type selections, ride preferences, and all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Safety Rules and User Conduct

You agree to use PairQueue responsibly and follow all park rules, posted instructions, ride-operator directions, and applicable laws. You must not:

• use PairQueue to cut lines, save places in line, bypass park rules, misrepresent pass access, or interfere with park operations;
• harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, exploit, impersonate, or harm another user;
• request or pressure anyone to meet away from public ride entrances or other public park areas;
• share another person's personal information without consent;
• upload false, misleading, illegal, infringing, explicit, or harmful content;
• scrape, reverse engineer, overload, probe, or disrupt the Services;
• use the Services for commercial solicitation, spam, fraud, or unauthorized advertising.

Always use your own judgment. PairQueue does not verify every user statement and cannot guarantee another person's identity, conduct, availability, reliability, location, or ride access.

7. Matching, Reliability, and Badges

PairQueue may rank, filter, or display potential ride partners using ride selection, pass type, timing, ride style, status, reliability, beta status, verification signals, or other factors. These signals are informational only and do not guarantee a successful match, ride, wait-time reduction, or safe interaction. We may modify matching logic, scores, badges, and availability at any time.

8. Beta, Pro Features, and Payments

PairQueue may offer beta features, Pro Rider features, subscriptions, trip unlocks, ride guarantees, or commitment holds. During beta, features may be free, incomplete, changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. If paid features are enabled, fees, renewals, cancellations, and refund terms will be presented at checkout or in the applicable feature flow. PairQueue is not a bank, money transmitter, insurer, or escrow agent.

9. User Content and Feedback

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile details, ride preferences, reports, messages, and feedback. You grant PairQueue a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, transmit, analyze, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the Services. If you submit suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or compensation.

10. Our Intellectual Property

The Services, software, designs, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and other materials provided by PairQueue are owned by PairQueue or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal, lawful use in accordance with these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services such as hosting providers, analytics tools, payment processors, app stores, maps, notification providers, or park websites. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, rules, pricing, downtime, or policies.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for users, interfered with the Services, violated park rules, or exposed PairQueue or others to legal or safety risk. You may stop using the Services at any time.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, PairQueue disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, safety, uninterrupted service, or error-free operation. We do not guarantee matches, reduced wait times, ride availability, park access, pass compatibility, user reliability, or user safety.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PairQueue will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal interactions, park access issues, ride closures, queue changes, user conduct, or third-party actions. PairQueue's total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid PairQueue for the Services in the 12 months before the claim.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PairQueue from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your content, your interactions with other users, your violation of these Terms, your violation of park rules, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
