Challenge rules

PairQueue First Ride Crew

These rules support the initial PairQueue beta challenge for Cedar Point riders. PairQueue may update, pause, or cancel the challenge if operational, legal, safety, platform, or park-related conditions require it.

Challenge period

May 21, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET through June 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Entries close June 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Finalist review and outreach begins June 16, with PairQueue in-market June 18-20 and the Founder Ride Day Experience planned for June 19, 2026.

1. No purchase necessary

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. PairQueue beta signup, Google Play pre-registration, or app installation may help the team understand launch interest, but purchase is not required for challenge eligibility and will not improve judging.

2. Eligibility

Prize-eligible entrants must be legal residents of the United States, 18 years or older, and able to provide a valid permanent email address for winner or finalist contact. Void where prohibited. PairQueue may require identity, eligibility, tax, receipt, and prize-fulfillment confirmation before awarding any prize. People outside prize eligibility may still submit beta interest, but they may not be eligible to receive a prize.

3. How to enter

Post a qualifying ride-day plan, solo park story, ride-buddy story, PairQueue beta reaction, or park meetup story on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook. Use #PairQueueContest where practical, tag PairQueue where supported, then submit the public post URL through the PairQueue First Ride Crew entry form. If tagging is unavailable, include PairQueue in the post text.

4. Native-platform submissions

Content remains on the original platform account. PairQueue stores the submitted URL, contact information, source details, consent, and review status for campaign administration. Entrants are responsible for complying with the original platform rules and community guidelines.

5. Judging criteria

This is a judged beta-community challenge, not a random drawing. Entries may be judged on authenticity, clear ride-day story, PairQueue relevance, usefulness for beta learning, and creativity. PairQueue may reject entries that are inaccessible, unsafe, misleading, abusive, spammy, or unrelated to the challenge.

6. Challenge period and selection timing

The entry period starts May 21, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends June 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. PairQueue plans to review qualifying entries during the challenge period, begin finalist outreach on or around June 16, 2026, be in-market June 18-20, and conduct park-day testing and content capture centered around June 19. PairQueue may contact potential grand prize finalists before June 18 to confirm availability, age eligibility, contact details, park-day timing, and comfort participating in photos or video. Dates may shift if operational, safety, platform, park, weather, or eligibility review issues require additional time.

7. Prize structure and cap

The public prize pool is capped at $1,200 total. Planned prizes are one Grand Prize: Founder Ride Day Experience reimbursement and PairQueue-selected ride-day perks up to $500 total; two review-period Fast Lane, park-day upgrade, or similar reimbursement prizes up to $250 each; and four runner-up digital gift card or park-day credit awards of $50 each. Prize details may vary by availability, eligibility, weather, park operations, and final scheduling.

8. Reimbursement and fulfillment

Reimbursement prizes require PairQueue approval and valid documentation, such as eligible receipts or proof of purchase. Eligible reimbursable expenses may include Cedar Point tickets, Fast Lane, parking, PairQueue-selected ride-day perks, or PairQueue-approved park-day expenses, up to the stated prize cap. The Founder Ride Day Experience requires June 19 availability and final confirmation from PairQueue, and does not guarantee any specific VIP tour, private tour, ride access, lodging, transportation, or third-party experience unless PairQueue confirms it in writing. Prizes are not transferable, have no guaranteed cash alternative unless PairQueue elects one, and may be substituted with a prize of comparable value if needed. Winners are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations.

9. Content rights and consent

By checking the repost consent box, entrants allow PairQueue to repost, embed, quote, screenshot, or otherwise feature the submitted content with attribution in PairQueue organic marketing, campaign recaps, and beta launch materials. Selected finalists may also be asked whether they are comfortable appearing in PairQueue photo or video content during park-day testing. Entrants must only submit content they have rights to share.

10. Safety and conduct

PairQueue does not encourage line cutting, saving places in line, private meetups, trespassing, harassment, unsafe behavior, or violations of park rules. Meetups should occur only in public, park-appropriate areas and must follow all park policies. Ride-buddy matching is for public park coordination, not dating. Comfort preferences such as same-gender or no preference are used to support safer, lower-pressure ride matching.

11. Platform and park disclaimer

PairQueue is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or administered by Cedar Point, Six Flags, Cedar Fair, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Google, Apple, or any other platform or park unless expressly stated in writing.

12. Privacy

PairQueue uses submitted information to administer the challenge, contact entrants, manage beta interest, review submitted content, and support campaign reporting. See the PairQueue Privacy Policy for more information.
